Hi Coaches and Directors,

Here's a quick note about the 2008 Mahtomedi Traveling Basketball Tournaments. This season's Girls' Tournament will be held on December 5 - 7, 2008. The Boys' Tournament is scheduled for February 28 - March 1, 2009. Both events will be at the Mahtomedi High School and Middle School complex

For those organizations who have participated in our tournaments in the past, we would like to extend thanks and encourage your return for this season. If you have yet to participate, please give our tournament a serious look. Some points of interest about the Mahtomedi tournament are:

• One-site tournament - all games played in adjacent High School and Middle School buildings
• Tournament games are played on six hardwood floor courts
• All gyms have excellent seating for parents and family
• All referees are High School certified for the State of Minnesota
• On-site trainer
• Easy access off 694
• Excellent on-site parking

• Large gathering areas with tables for use between games.

• Fan-friendly site (snack-bars with pizza, subs, pop, popcorn, etc.)

The format will be single elimination, with double consolation, which guarantees every team will pay at least three games. Both tournaments will have "A" and "B" divisions in 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade brackets.
