What do I do if my child has a problem with the coach? |

If a parent or player does not like their coach, they are encouraged to contact the appropriate Traveling Director or In House Director, as early as possible to discuss the situation. The director can then evaluate if the appropriate course of action is a meeting with the coach, discussion with other parents, movement of the player to another team, other action with the coach, etc. We cannot promise that a player will be moved to a different team, but we will make every effort to make the basketball season a fun and productive experience. If a change is necessary, it will be handled in the most professional and least disruptive manner possible. Always remember that all of our coaches are volunteers that are doing their best (99%+ of the time) to provide each player with a great basketball experience. At the same time, we do take all parental input extremely seriously.
At the end of each year, we ask all players and parents to complete an evaluation of the program and the coaches – which helps us with future planning and gives us insights (both positive and negative) on our coaches. We encourage all parents to take the time to complete a survey each year.
