In House:  For all of our In-house teams, all of the players are evaluated to determine player skill and experience – strictly with the goal of creating equal teams at each level.  All players are guaranteed to be placed on a team.  Again, the primary goal is equally distribute players of all levels and create equally competitive teams.  The composition of the teams is determined by a board subcommittee based upon the results of the evaluations.

Traveling:  It is recommended that you review the Traveling section of this website for a detailed discussion of the traveling team and coach selection process.  However, in general terms, the following will outline the general process.

For our traveling teams, all interested players are evaluated by impartial evaluators for each player’s skill, experience and ability.  For our 4th grade teams, the top 10 ranked players, that have indicated an interest in playing at the Blue level, compose the team.  The next 10 players (provided there are 10 more qualified and interested players) would comprise the Gold team.  Additional teams could be established based upon the number of qualified and interested players that try out.

For 5th grade teams and older, the process is much the same, however, returning coaches may have limited input if it is necessary to help create a more balanced roster.   Please see the traveling section for more details.
